An Essential Challenge Easel Card

The lovely ladies over at the Essential Sketches challenge blog have an easel card challenge going on through Sunday, so while I am on a card-making tear thought I would create one!





Love the bird image from the Take it to Heart set.  I stamped it in Stazon Black on watercolor  paper, and colored with various aqua painters.  I used the new Framelits heart die to cut it out, and paired it with Beau Chateau DSP. For colors, I chose Pink Pirouette, Baja Breeze and Soft Suede. I also threaded taffeta ribbon through the punch and used pearls for accents.

Fun and a pretty card, if I do say so myself!

inks:  Soft Suede, Baja Breeze, Marina Mist, Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink
cardstock:  Beau Chateau, Baja Breeze, Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette

    Oh, I didn't see this earlier - I love the colors and the lace ribbon border punch with the DSP is just divine!!!
