Color Inspiration for a new puppy!

No new puppy here! Although I know Chansey would LOVE a little playmate!  A friend and her husband are adopting a puppy, after losing their little daschund last month so I thought I would use this week's Stamping 411 Color Inspiration for their card.  As part of Sale-a-bration, I picked up D for Dog and I am so glad I did. I think I will be using this a lot!

The color inspiration is Close to Cocoa, Apricot Appeal, Bermuda Bay and Pumpkin Pie.  I do not have any Pumpkin Pie paper, so I used it as an ink accent instead.  I would never have tried this color combination, so I am glad this inspiration was posted!  I also used this week's Sketch Challenge at SCS for the layout.  I clear embossed the pawprint as the background for one layer.

Inside I used one of the sentiments from the set, and stamped a little bone in the corner.  This sentiment is SO true!

I am finally getting back into the stamping groove after taking the end of last year off...and enjoying it!
