Wow! I am feeling good about being back to blogging; the couple of months off was needed though and I feel focussed and ready to create, hopefully inspire and I know get tons of inspiration! A huge Thank you to everyone for sticking with me during my time off! This is for you...a virtual " thank you" to all my friends!
I found a lot of inspiration over the past few weeks, and used an article about Jan Tink in Stampin Success to be inspired to create a card and candle using a new Stampin Up Set, Vintage Vogue, being released tomorrow in the new Occasions Mini. This set is also unmounted (yay!) and I have to say I am SO excited Stampin up added this option.
I am busy preparing for my January Technique class, and this will be one of the cards and projects we do! Over the next week I will share with you the other two cards we will be making as well. For the card, I used the Vintage Vogue wheel to create the background tone on tone. Are you like me and have wheels and never use them? I have a few and told myself I need to start using what I have, so here you have it!
I also focused on this years incolors, Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry and added Old Olive after I saw Jan's cards in the magazine. What a great color to add!
