I saw this color challenge on Stampin 411 and thought it was a great, different Valentines Day color combo. As I sat at my crafting desk, I saw a piece of printed window sheet leftover from some thank yous I had made, and thought it would be fun to try a window card.
A little tough to see, but I used one of the dotted printed sheets as a window. I focussed so much on the mechanics of creating a window, I kept the card really simple! It could use more layers, in my opinion!
Here is another view where you can see the window sheet. This is a fun design! I will be trying it again!
stamps: Stampin Up Always
cardstock: Tempting Turquoise, Apricot Appeal, Real Red, printed window sheet
ink: Apricot Appeal, Tempting Turquoise
tools: small heart punch
Oh I am SO doing this for god-daughter number two. Thanks for a GREAT idea! (Whew - 2 out of 5 - now what to do for the tween boys??) -- Wendy
