A Wicked Case

I saw this card on Wendy's blog a few weeks ago and loved how she used the one image from the Gratitude set.  So I changed it up a bit and created my own version!

I have not used the new in-colors, Peach Parfait or Poppy Parade yet and they make a great combination!  With So Saffron and Old Olive it is a fun autumn color combo, especially on a rainy dreary day like we have seen a lot the past few weeks here in Connecticut.

The images were stamped first in Peach Parfait and then the edges were rolled in Poppy Parade.  I accented the card with some sprinkles from Annabelle Stamps (still addicted to these!)

My October class is going to be a bit of a change as we are making the Desk Organizer set I highlighted a few posts ago.  But I am going to try my best to post some cards the next month!  This card is off to a good friend for her birthday!

stamps:  Curly Cute, Gratitude
cardstock:  Old Olive, Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait
DSP:  So Saffron prints
inks:  Old Olive, Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait
accessories:  corner rounder, sprinkles
technique:  rock 'n roll

  1. I love the colors you chose. Your version is so connected. I might have to case this myself!

  2. Seriously, this is one of the most stunning cards I've seen in quite a while! You did a beautiful job with the case. I love how the squares have been corner rounded and then put together like flower petals. This is just beautiful! I'm going to have to case this myself! Best, Curt
