Paper Players Sketch Challenge 65

Lots of leaves on this one!  I think I may have gone overboard.....lol.  I had started this card yesterday and decided to use it for today's Paper Players Sketch challenge.

I paired the Gently Falling set with the Spice Cake DSP, in the colors of Pear Pizazz, Soft Suede and River Rock.  Not really crazy about my ribbon knot...or this card...!  But I wanted to try to get a quick card in today!  Thanks for stopping by!

stamps:  Gently Falling, Petite Pairs
cardstock:  Pear Pizazz, River Rock, Soft Suede, Spice Cake DSP, Naturals White
ink: Pear Pizazz, River Rock, Soft Suede
Accessories:  Retired River Rock ribbon, Pear Pizazz ribbon

  4. Lauri, I think this is great! Those colors are so gorgeous together and the leaves are perfect on those layers. It's nice to see a card with leaves that aren't in the typical orange/red/brown combination. Great job! Thanks for playing with The Paper Players.

  5. I love this! I haven't even opened this stamp set...it didn't really appeal to me but I like that you did it in greens & browns....very realistic! Isn't this a great sketch?!

  8. Hi Lauri! Wow, what a fabulous fall card! I really like how you used the sketch with the mix of DSP and stamped images. The embossing behind the cut out leaf is such a great touch. Thanks so much for playing along with us at the Paper Players this week! Hugs! :)

  9. Lauri - This is so beautiful - I do not think you overdid the leaves at all. I love how you used the darker acorns to set off the leaves. Just wonderful! I was on the fence about this stamp set, but decided to order it because of fabulous cards like yours- Thank you for playing with The Paper Players!
