Scrapbookers Paradise Sketch Challenge 41

I have taken a few days off to prepare for the one and only Holiday Craft fair I am doing this weekend, and took a break to join in the Scrapbookers Paradise Sketch Challenge.  A challenging sketch indeed!

I love using vellum, but inevitably always smudge something!   Here is my interpretation on the sketch, using the Christmas Lodge stamp set and Frostwood Lodge DSP.  I stamped the tree in Garden Green on vellum, and the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler on vellum.  Both on mounted on DSP from the set.  I took a picture before the glue had dried (since the rain is coming!) so sorry you can still see my adhesive beneath the vellum!

Back to the craft fair mines for me!

Stamps:  Christmas Lodge
Cardstock, DSP:  Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Frostwood Lodge DSP, Vellum
inks:  Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler

  1. Hi Lauri,
Oh are you wonderful!! This card is lovely, I need to use vellum more! Love the DSP too, I keep eyeing this stamp set!! Great job with the sketch!!!

  2. I made a promise to myself to not buy any new Christmas dsp this year but every time I see a card made with Frostwood Lodge, I regret my decision! Stamping the tree and sentiment on vellum is a really nice look. So soft!

  3. Very nice vellum work. Terrific enterpretation with Scrapbookers Paradise Sketch.
    Keep smiling and creating

  4. Great take on the sketch! Thanks for Playing in Paradise with us!

  5. A super traditional Christmas card...and a great take on the sketch (have to remember that one!). Thanks for playing at Scrapbooker's Paradise!

Thank you SO much for taking a few minutes to leave me a note!
