Freshly Made Sketch 15

My oh-so-fun run as a guest designer at Freshly Made Sketches is coming to a close, sniff sniff...I have been so honored to be able to join these uber-talented ladies!

Cindy challenged us with a sketch  that made me go ...hmmm....tricky one!  and all this pressure to go out with a bang with my last card!! lol

I was going to try to not do a Christmas card, but the first image that came to my head was the tree from Christmas Lodge. I paired it with DSP from the Frostwood lodge DSP package, and selected a color theme of Whisper White, Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler.

Channeling Ann Schach, I added pearls to the tree and as a border on the bottom.  The sentiment is stamped in Cherry Cobbler on vellum, and wrapped around the layer.  Not the "out with a bang" I hoped for, but a pretty card none the less!

Check out the Design Team inspiration and join us for the last Freshly Made Sketch for 2011!  The team will be back in January with more fun and I can't wait to play along!

stamps:  Christmas Lodge
cardstock: Frostwood lodge, whisper white, cherry cobbler, garden green, vellum
ink:  garden gree, cherry cobbler
accessories:  pearls

  3. Very nice, great classic Christmas colours, and vellum is fantastic. Love all the pearls too, they look wondeful on the tree.
