A Not Clean Sketch?

So I made this card for this week's Freshly Made Sketch and isn't really clean! or is it???  Guess I will enter it anyway...sorry ladies!!! I understand if you disqualify me!

While I love new stuff, I tend to neglect my old.  I pulled out the BUild a Blossom set and punch, along with French Foliage.  Wisteria Wonder just retired (should have used that color more!) but still in my card and ink supply, so I paired it with Elegant Eggplant and Lucky Limeade.

DOH Wisteria Wonder is still current....I paired it with Elegant Eggplant and Lucky Limeade.  The Petals were created using the KISS technique, and the background is random stamped images from French Foliage cut out with one to the Labels dies.

Beautiful day today!  Thanks for stopping by and hope all is well in your part of the world!

stamps:  Build a Blosson, French Foliage, Petite Pair
inks:  Elegant Eggplant, Lucky Limeade, Wisteria Wonder
cardstock:  Whisper White, Elegant Eggplant, wisteria wonder, Lucky Limeade
tools:  blossom punch, hemp twine, pearls, labels dies

  1. Oh Lauri that is one gorgeous flower! Pretty card inside and out!

  2. Lauri, this is stunning! I love the pearls in the center of the flower and the background peeking out from behind the flower. So gorgeous! Hope your day remained sunny - we had a storm whip in quickly from the west and temps dropped in hurry after that.

  3. Disqualify you? No way! I love the beautiful flower and the stamped background you layered it on. I can see my favorite French Foliage stamp set peeking out on that background - so gorgeous!

  4. Stunning card!! I LOVE the kissing technique on the petals, and the colour combination is fab.

  5. Wow ... What a stunning looking flower this is Laurie these fab colours too!
Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!!

Thank you SO much for taking a few minutes to leave me a note!
