2013 Artisan Entry Blog Hop: Day 3

Day 3 of the 2013 Artisan Entry Blog Hop!  Here is my third greeting card entry, created in MDS.  In creating my cards, I tried to show a variety of styles, and thought up this bright graphic Birthday card, with matching tassels.  The tassel part was made by coloring crepe paper, fringing it, rolling and attaching to bakers twine.  The inside cannot be seen  but I printed polka dots in the same colors on the inside.

Please stop by all the ladies blogs and see another day of creative submissions!  You can follow the list below, or use the shortcuts below for the next or previous blogs.

Thanks for looking!

  9. Love this! The tassels are such a great and unexpected touch! Who would have thought they could be created with crepe paper?! Love the MDS aspect - I haven't even tried MDS yet and truly admire those who are adept with it. This is truly a "happy" happy birthday card with the colors and those cool tassels!

  10. I was wondering how you got the letters so perfect... makes sense that this is MDS. Love the hybrid approach and added fringe element. Crisp and happy.
