My neighbor just adopted two kittens after losing her cat to illness, so I thought a card would be in order! The kittens are girls, so doing something up in pink seemed appropriate, even for kitties. I discovered another great sketch challenge on Stamping Royalty.
C is for Cat is the set I used from Stampin Up, another one I picked up free at Sale-a-bration. I paired it with some retired SU DSP that I found in my scrap box. Really trying to use up those scraps!!
For texture, I used the new dots embossing folder for the white layer under the stamp, and also used the new scallop border stamp for edging. A few white dots with my pen and done!
Thanks for stopping by!!
stamps: SU! C is for Cat
paper: retired DSP, pretty in pink, whisper white, so saffron
ink: pretty in pink
accessories: so saffron twill ribbon
tools: scallop border punch
I got this set too and it's so nice to see it in something other than black. Beautiful composition!
