Such a pretty stamp set! I colored a few of these images yesterday while I was at a scrapbook crop as a way to practice my watercolor skills. After stamping the image with Stazon on watercolor paper, I colored it with markers and then blended with an aqua painter. I added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the flowers using my two way glue pen. The background image is simple stamped color on color, in this case Certainly Celery. Rose Red and Regal Rose are the reds used; I am going to miss Regal Rose!
ETA: DOH! Regal Rose is staying...double DOH!
Still working on finishing the insides of my cards! It certainly does add a lot!
stamps: Elements of Style
cardstock: watercolor, regal rose, rose red, certainly celery
inks: certainly celery, rose red, Stazon black
accessories: Dazzling Diamonds, Two Way glue pen, scallop edge punch
This is beautiful. What a wonderful job with the watercoloring. You're scaring me though about Regal Rose retiring. I think it's Ruby Red that's going. At least I hope so.
ReplyDeleteLove this card! How come my watercoloring never turns out this well? Ahh, I want to make this card... :-)
