Boy this week went by quickly! I taught my monthly technique class this week and we had a lot of fun as always! I put this card together for this week's Picture Perfect Challenge, the colors of Cajun Craze, Always Artichoke and Certainly Celery. Now Cajun Craze is one color I NEVER use so this was quite a challenge for me! I love this image of the truck and Cajun Craze reminded me of what an old red rusty truck may look like.
I stamped the image using Stazon on watercolor paper and colored with markers, then blended with aquapainters. After mounting the image on Always Artichoke, I embossed the entire image with the Square Lattice Folder. The card background is also the Square Lattice Folder, but I inked the folder up with Versamark first so add some contrast to the embossed pattern.
and of course, I had to color the rooster too! I also added a little bit of Crystal Effects to the apples and windows.
Inside I used the apple from the set, watercolored with markers and aquapainters and added some crystal effects for fun.
You still have a few days for this challenge!
