My Mashup Challenge

Well this is fun...and challenging!  Friday Mashup is having a Fan Favorite Challenge and thought I would give it a go!

My Mashup Challenge would be....

1.  Create a card using your own background paper/dsp.
2.  Create a card using only black and white
3.  Mash it up!  Create a black and white card incorporating your own designed background!

Here is the card I made inspired by this challenge.

The background is DSP I created stamping an image from Paisley Petals in Basic Black on Whisper White.  I embossed the background with the Lovely Lines folder.  The focal image is another stamp from Paisley Petals embossed in white on Basic Black.

I added the sentiment from Petite pairs and the ribbon and done!  Just goes to show you don't need a lot of colors...or a lot of cardstock or DSP...to make a pretty card!

stamps:  Paisley Petals, Petite Pairs
cardstock:  Whisper White, Basic Black
inks:  versamark, basic black
accessories:  ribbon, white embossing powder, lovely lines embossing folder

  5. Nothing better than a classic black and white card! I love the idea of mashing that up with making our own DSP!
