I sat down today to make a birthday card for my sister, and decided to use the Paper Players sketch 105.
For the past few weeks I have also been following the Online Card Class, Stretch your Stamps! Although I didn't participate each day, I have gained a lot of inspiration!
- I used an outline stamp, Pleasant Poppies, embossed in white on both DSP from the International Bazaar set and cardstock. Love how the DSP background presents a fun look!
- I stamped the entire image twice, once on DSP and the other time on the cardstock. Then I cut the image to fit the sketch (sort of! lol)
- I used one of the leftover pieces on the inside.
The DSP reminds me of peacock feathers, and my sister loves peacock designs! Hope she likes it!
Have fun and stamp today!
~ Lauri
