We have a whole month of challenges in store, celebrating the theme of Sewing and the Comfort Cafe DSP and colors! For the first challenge, DSP/Color Focus, I decided to do a set of four quilting cards. These are quite addicting!
My daughter has taken up quilting, and pointed me to many websites and a few books that have tons of quilt square patterns. I decided to go with ones that I could use with a square punch. I just punched out all different patterns in DSP and some cardstock, and played around with combinations! To get the quilting effect, I used the square lattice embossing folder after I adhered the pieces to cardstock.
Please hop over the SCS and join in the fun! Also check out the gallery of all the team's creations...lots of inspiration there! I will be sharing the other challenges all month long.
Thanks! Do something fun today!
