I have been so busy with work the past few months I have not even had time to post work to my blog. So this weekend, as I create baby announcements for a friend who gave birth to a beautiful baby boy the other day, I am distracted.
Distracted by the news from Newtown. When it happens across the country, it is sad...but not all that real in some respects. This is too real, too close....all the more sad with the circumstances and victims.
We pray, we talk, we try to make sense...what else can we do? Here are a few ways I thought I would share with you.
Read Emilie's story, as told by her dad. She was creative, and loved to make cards especially when people needed a lift. I believe a PO box is being set up for people to send her family cards; I will post it here when I see it on facebook.

Thanks to Create with Cori for the thought and graphic...send cards to the school...
Also, if you have a local Project LInus, please consider making a blanket or donating fleece.
These things may seem small, but when done by many, they add up....and that is how light overcomes any darkness...
Thanks for the info, Lauri! Hope all is well with you and yours - I have missed seeing your posts.
