I am very fortunate to have been Linda's choice last week as one of the Pal Paper Artists picks for this card...thank you Linda! I have to admit, I was a bit intimidated by this weeks' sketch, but given that I need a birthday card for one of my sisters, I went at it!
I had fun with this one; I am not comfortable mixing DSP but I am okay with how this came out!
- A neglected set, Amazing Family, is the focal point. On my shelf and probably never used!
- I went with the colors of the DSP, choosing Coastal Cabana, Pear Pizazz and Wisteria wonder for the ink colors.
- I also chose the more modern, graphical pieces from the DSP set. Hard to choose and love these colors!
So I have three sisters in all, and the other two have birthdays coming up in the next few months so I think they will all be getting the same card! But, I am going to change up the DSP and colors. Guess what I am doing the rest of today?? I will post them so you can see how they come out!
Have a great remainder of the weekend!

Beautiful, Lauri! I love the pearls on the side panel piece. Your snipping on "sister" was very clever. Thanks for playing with the Pals at Pals Paper Arts!
