I am on a creative roll and going with it as long as it lasts! For the Fab Friday 21 sketch...I love this color combination, Coastal Cabana and Smoky Slate.
The card is easy when you have a great sketch to work with! Couple of notes..
- I used Bermuda Bay ink on Coastal Cabana for a bit of monochromatic look.
- The halfcircle thingy under the butterfly was made using the Borders insert for the Simply Scored (I noticed it on the sketch after I had assembled the card so I went back and added it)
- The sentiment is embossed in pewter on vellum; to adhere the vellum I used my two way glue pen and just hid the glue under the letters.
- To make the arrow, I punched out a piece of Glitter Paper using the word punch, then went back and made the front and end of the arrow using a square punch.
That's all! Thanks for looking!

ReplyDeleteI really like the dry embossed detail under the sentiment and it doesn't compete at all with the gorgeous butterfly! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
